New York

"Start spreading the news, I'm leaving today...I'll dada da da da da duh da New York New York". I love NY! So much history, sights, the atmosphere alone is amazing, and we got to go see it all! It was freakin freezing the whole time, the coldest it had been and the worst snow storm in five years. Perfect for a couple from AZ who want to tour and see everything, but the cold did not stop us! We had so much fun! We stayed on Long Island so we could visit Tara, then we stayed in the city the night before the Today Show. We got to figure out the train, subway and we had scary taxi rides, we even had a sedan service. We went to the top of the empire state building, we took a fairy ride to Ellis Island to see the Statue of liberty and tour immigration headquarters, Times square every night, we went and saw everything we could. Here are some of the pictures:

Here is a view of the city from Ellis Island.

Dane went to the top deck to take a picture of the Statue of Liberty from our fairy, he had to have been the only person crazy enough to go up there it was freezing + the wind made it even colder, he is frozone!

And who ever thought Dane and I would be here! The Today show! I got to go to the dressing room with Dane where all the guests went before they did their segment on the show. While Dane talked to Al Roker about his experience on the show I talked to Tyson Bedford in the dressing room. I overheard him saying that he watched the show and he liked that guy(Dane). Yes...Tyson is just as hot in person. I saw Kathy Lee Gifford run into the dressing room and No...she doesn't look as hot in person, in her defense she had no makeup on. We were both interviewed by Axcess Hollywood after the show, they asked me questions and then cut me completely out of the piece they did on us, but my nose got on TV!

Dane has had so many interviews at this point he could do them in his sleep but this was the first time I had done any. When we stopped at the Statue of Liberty Dane had another interview over the phone and they wanted to talk to me so he handed me the phone. I had no idea who it was or what they had been talking about but I thought, hey, no big deal. I got on the phone and started talking to this guy who asked me if Dane was a good lover. I made some stupid comment and I joked with him. Later I found out it was a live Radio show. Thanks Dane!It was a great experience, we have gotten a little taste of what celebrities lives are like. It was fun to be a part of it & we will never forget it.

Episode 8

Tonight we said goodbye to Daney. All I want to say is that I could not be more proud of Dane! He has been battleing his wieght for a long time now and finally he is winning. We all have weaknesses that we have to constantly fight and no matter what that weakness may be Dane is an inspiration to me for facing that fear and conquering it. Well done babe!
