Chillin at the duck park

We are trying to get in as many family outings as we can right now before the baby is born. Duck park...check! It is nice when we can drag the rest of the family along with us. We had fun and it was nice for the kids to ride their bikes, next time we fish.

Parade Party

Cotter, Quinci and Cruz are so creative! They are always always trying to throw parties for their friends, they even write out invitations for them and sometimes they have delivered invitations without me knowing. The most recent party idea was a bike party that we turned into a parade. Saturday we decorated our bikes with streamers and raced up and down our street for all the Moms and Dads. it was a blast! Then we ate Popcorn afterwards, I sometimes wish i had the energy for all my kids parties they are so fun :)

Happy New Years

Where is the chocolate cake?

We found Cruz in a chocolate cake coma last night. we were all sitting around talking with family and all of us were saying how we wanted some chocolate cake but we were all to tired and lazy to actually get up and get some...not Cruzer. He went in the kitchen while all of us were being lazy and helped himself to that entire cake! When we found him in his bed passed out later we all laughed-he must have been so happy, the whole cake was all aver face, hands, bed, and hair! I stared to clean him up and he opened his eyes and said ,"MOM, my cake?", I said,"Yah bud, you ate it all." I found handfuls of cake still in his hands. I guess he taught us a lesson, don't be lazy when the cake tastes that good.

CHRISTMAS MORNING

Christmas keeps getting funner and funner every year! This year we really wanted to talk to our kids about the importance of giving. We did a Christmas tree angel at Cotters school and then we did service and we had our kids give gifts to other people...Now we can enjoy the materialistic side of it. :) Our kids were so excited for Santa they really understand now who he is and what he does:) They were allowed to ask Santa for two presents each and they all wanted pillow pets. haha the craze for this year. Cotter got a dolphin P.P., Qj got a lady bug P.P, and Cruz got a froggy P.P. they also got a crap load of other fun stuff including a tv, a wii, bikes, scooters trucks etc. Santa is awesome! It was really fun to have Grandma Leni, Grandpa Greg and Trent at our house for Christmas as well!

Madagascar Report

Cotter wrote his very first report for school. His topic was an African Country, and he chose Madagascar. We had so much fun working on this together and it was even funner for me to see him present this assignment to his class. He told them about the different kinds of Lemurs you will find in Madagascar, the golden Orb spider that spins silk for clothing, facts about their culture and all kinds of facts about the island itself like how it is the fourth largest island in the world. My Cotdog is so smart!

Quinci's Christmas Dance Recital

Another brilliant performance from our Quinci Jae :) She was so cute and I loved seeing all the improvements she has made. It was also fun for her to share this experience with her all time BFF Elsie mae. We had a get ready party with the two of them before the recital. They weren't in the same class but they enjoyed having their ballet time together. I love to watch them dance!
