Instead of napping yesterday my kids destroyed their room:
Culprit:
Accomplice:
This was my day yesterday. It started in my kids room and trickled out their door into our family room and kitchen! Luckily I went on Angie Dunn's blog and read this Quote:
"Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes Courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying,"I will try again tomorrow."
-Marry Anne Rodmacher
So My kids and I laughed while we cleaned their room... We played a little to! &....Today I felt so much better about the mess I woke up to. I had the energy to deep clean those problem areas that have been bugging the crap out me! So the morale of the story is: "I don't have to have that perfectly clean house I work so hard for and never enjoy, sometimes we all just need to forget about the dirty laundry we really don't want to face and just have a little fun!

What the Crap?!
So I was planning to post some cute pictures of my sweet baby boy, but instead I a posting some reality poses! Some of you have heard the amazing poop stories that I have aquired over the years as a mom: Quinci exploding on her doctor, Cotter destroying his room (on more than one occasion), The rug I had to throw away etc. I thought Cruz would give us a little more time but tonight he proved he is just as precious and disgusting as his brother & Sister! Yuck!!!! That is not mustard all over me, the bed and the carpet it is poop! I was nice enough to change his poopie diaper and the kid exploded all over me. I have opened up his diaper to "old faithful" already but when he exploded all over me I started to scream in panic and Dane came runnig in to our room with little sympathy- he was just so proud that our boy could poop that much. Looking back now I can say it was a little funny...I am just scared of what other poopie incidents are yet to come, & what I will be adding to the Patterson poopie portfollio. He managed to stay asleep through it all and I couldn't help but look at his sweet little face and wonder how he could do such a grose thing!

What does she got...STYLE!
So little miss Quinci Jae has been very oppinionated about what I dress her in lately. She always wants to wear her sunday dresses because they make her look like Cinderella and she gets to twirl in them. I on the other hand want her not to destroy her nice clothes so I rarely let her wear them, but lately I haven't cared as much and have let her express her individuality a little more. Well this morning she went to her room and decided to take full advantage of this whole "I can wear what ever I want" thing, and whala! My beautiful, glamorous, hick daughter! Oh-and panties did not go well with this particular outfit!

Too Fast!!
First off in case you were all wondering Carli has not had the baby yet. She is due on Thursday (Valentines) and has an apt on that day. The doctor said that if she didn't have him b4 that time he would go ahead and induce her. The first moment that I have I will post pictures and a video clip or two and also give you his stats.
In this time of excightment for baby number three We've been watching a lot of videos of when Cotter and Q were born. It kinda blows my mind to think how that was not a very long time ago at all. Time really does go by so fast. Kids grow up so fast. Growing up my mom used to always say that phrase and now that I'm older I try to really appreciate these times that I have with the kids at this age because in a few years it will all be over and they'll be (very intelligent know it all) teenagers.
So when they color on our files for work with permanant marker, when they don't quite make it to the toilet, spray paint the carpet, when there room smells like a out house from them peeing four gallons through there pull ups every night through all that as parents when they do that one precious thing like draw there first stick figure or tell you that they love you sooooooo much all is forgotten. I wouldn't trade these days for the world.

The Diesel is Here!!
I was as shocked as anyone to hear the news that a 35-36 year old 325lb Shaq was comming to town to run in the suns system I thought it was April fools day already. After some further thought I'm going to give the organization the benefit of the doubt and see how it all plays out. I look forward to watching the games once again. If it means we'll have a championship I will do anything short of selling my soul to the devil.
GO SUNS!!!!!

I need your vote!
First off, I thought this was a cute picture of Q. It really has nothing to do with this post.
Typically Carli is in charge of this blog. All I hear from family and friends is that they get sick of seeing the same posts for months at a time. Typically it is the wife/mother that keeps up with the family blog. Who would like to see me (Dane) adding my own posts. They will not be as creative as Carli's, but I could do more than one a year.
