St. Johns Trip

Well Dane thought that this would be the perfect weekend to go to see his family. April break meant that Cotter had no school and Dane had someone covering work stuff for him. So we packed up the car and headed north. Everything was going great until:

OK no explosions happened but my sweet little Quinci set Dane's family guest house on FIRE! For a minute I thought I was in Hell and she was the Devil! We had been there for only 12 hours (most of it sleeping) and she was already trying to burn their house down! I was scared to death of her and her powers until she was running around and twirling singing "I am a child of God". I looked at her precious little face and said "fewwww, theres no evil there"! I love my kids they definitely keep things exciting for me. Luckily nobody was hurt and every thing is replaceable!


we had so much fun the rest of the weekend and we were able to laugh about all that had happened. We got to go to Grandma Leni's school and make pizza and play basket ball:

Later all three kids fell asleep in Grandma's bed. We always have so much fun when we go to St. Johns, we eat way too well and get to lay around and be lazy. It is usually so relaxing when no one is setting anything on fire! I love that I have adventure in my life! I never wish for fire but I love knowing I have chaos! It is always interesting waking up and never knowing what kind of trouble we Patterson's are going to get ourselves into! I also love that I have the most understanding and forgiving In laws in the world! They definitely know what it is like to have chaos and they might even let us come back to see them!

That's more like it!!!

Even though we would have rather seen the Suns play with intensity in games two and three it is better now than never. Hopefully we can get lucky in San Antonio and bring it back to the PHX for game six.

Frustrated Suns Fans!!

Those of you who know the Patterson's know that we are big sports fans and love our Suns. As Life long suns fans we have gotten used of feeling disapointed year after year. Being down 0-3 against the world champions we know the likelyhood of the Suns comming back and winning the series. That being said if we are to go down here are some things that we would like to see out of our team.
1. Play Our Game

Don't let the Spurs or the Refs change the way you play. Just shut up and play our game.
2. Be physical

What do you have to lose. This is playoff basketball. I expect to see Tony Parker fall to the the ground and curl up in a ball atleased five times(this time out of real pain)
3. Realize that it is our fault that we are in this pradicament. (take the regular season lightly = 6 seed = Spurs in the opening round = early exit)

That being said we love our Suns and hope we can see a little more intensity in the future.

Cotter's 4th Birthday

I love this kid! He has always been the sweetest and loving little guy and now he is 4! He is getting so big-he is becoming one of my favorite people to talk to and one of my best friends. I love how fun he makes everything and how excited he gets about everything. He helped plan his whole party and he helped make it so much fun for everybody!

Cotter loves pizza so we got him his very own Large cheese pizza, and he of course ate the whole thing. It is a pretty amazing thing to watch a kid his size eat pizza like that.

Cotter is obsessed with Dinosaurs right now and he really wanted a Dino cake but we couldn't find any, so we got him the next best thing. Just like his daddy he love sports, so he picked out this chocolate baseball cake. It was soooo yummy!

Cotter and I stuffed this Spiderman pinata, with candy he picked out. Dane and I surprised him with his very first bike!

Cotter has the funnest family everyone gave him such fun presents. He got a couple Dinosaur gifts and every picture I took of him opening up gifts came out like this.

Cotter's buddy Ethan that is two days younger than him.

Quinci Jae Cotter's favorite sister in the whole world! She is so fun!

Cruz's Blessing Day

He looked so handsome in his little tux! His neck was so chubby we couldn't button the top button of his shirt so he couldn't wear his bow tie, but he looked like a mini John Travolta with his shirt open!

My Aunt Jan was laughing because out of all the kids that were at Cruz's blessing she managed to put both the kids on her row to sleep. She claimed she had the boring row, I am convinced that she needs to come to church with me every week!

The Grandmas! And the people responsible for spoiling this kid for the rest of his life!

Talk about a bloodbath!!!

What a game and what a series we are in for. Even though it was a tough loss in game 1 to the Spurs I feel a little comfort knowing that the game was in the hands of the players. The refs let them play, Stern didn't suspend anyone, and nobody got hurt. We can only hope that every game can be like this in the series.
